How do I get this pattern???????

  6. Stringy Blog Model says:

I guess you have to get rid of tribbles SOMEHOW… I mean, how else do they get those so-disposable red uniforms?

  7. Jackie says:

I made something similar for my brother, a physics teacher and rabid Star Trek fan. I used a raglan pattern, and made the swoosh badge out of plastic, so it’s possible this version is classier. I also used Captain Kirk gold, not Drop Dead Red.

  8. Raven says:

Where’s the pattern for that? I must have it!

  9. Eva says:

Just wanted to let you know that I laughed out loud when I read your comment on the Yarn Harlot’s post today. Pre-historic cave painting indeed! Very, very true.

  10. Bill Compton says:

Hi Jim. Photos i received. Thanks

  11. Nightfly says:

Jenn – I think that the lady on the right, in the banner on the top of the page, has already knitted herself several tribbles. She sold them at a craft table at the flea market, and they were no tribble at all…

  12. Natalie says:

I kind of want one too.

  13. so….where do we find the instructions?

  14. DeanB says:

I liked your restraint — you realized that the picture spoke for itself and you hardly had to add anything.

  18. Jenn says:

I wonder if other patterns in this set would be Knit Your Own Tribble.

I know, I know, someone is going to tell me it’s already been done…

  19. marlene says:

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Too funny!!

  20. Bjo Trimble says:

This is wonderful! But red is such a dangerous color on Star Trek, so do you have it in Dr. McCoy blue? — Bjo

  21. Dana says:

Tim is smiling….so care free….so happy the Captain finally let him go on an away team……this is his big chance! So to ensure making the best impression possible, he puts on the hand knit made from homespun tribble pelts in the most eye catching federation approved colorway available.
What he failed to remember is that no one in the red shirt has ever come back alive.

    Rest In Peace Tim

  22. Damnit Jim! I’m a doctor not a knitwear designer!

  23. Lladnar says:

Star Trek knits leave one hot and sweaty it seems.
Maybe he realizes the guy in the red “shirt” always gets it first.

  24. JenMuse says:

Having shown it to a single, male co-worker, his response: “I don’t care if it finds me a wife. I’m not wearing that thing!”

    Muahahahahahaha!

  25. JenMuse says:

    HA!!!!!! I so love it!

  26. Jenn says:

If you accidentally shrink the sweater in the wash, do you have a Kling-on?

    Beam me up, Scotty!

  28. Heather says:
