Working out sucks. I think people who say it energizes them are liars. Big stinking liars. But good for you for doing it anyway! I’ll have a beer (necessary step in making the budvisor – I do it for my art) and think about it.

The ‘working out gives me energy’ thing only happens later, sorry to say. While you’re leaving the Tatery-goodness behind, it’s mostly just tiring. And even now, sometimes I just endure the workout itself, but I love it afterwards. Running has made me more patient, more energetic, and more confident. It’s groovy, babay!

Oh my goodness, I need to make that bag. I have laughed at the beer can stuff, but…omg. I will learn to crochet JUST so I can make the Limonata bag.

The only thing I’ve read at work that left me gasping for air to the point that the office manager came into my office to glare at me for going on-line at work was your MOKS, specifically the latest Christmas edition, in which you paid homage to the obscene little girl panty-peek dresses of yore and the obvious usefulness of the one-at-a-time hot dog cooker. I will buy your book. Yes, I will buy it, and I will laugh. (And, most likely be incredibly jealous of your success. But not in a Single White Female way, so don’t worry.)

I’m confused. Isn’t that *my* bag? I thought it inprinted on me a little when it saw me. Or it could be that I am delusional and scared of crochet. Whatever. Ever since I saw it I dream of that bag. It will haunt me forever as my own personal holy bag grail….

I loved your bag… I was standing near/behind you at one point admiring it, but I didn’t speak up because
1. I had dragged the boyfriend along and didn’t want him to know that I am crazy enough to approach a complete stranger who shares my love both of Italian tonics and crocheting,
and
2. the sheer number of people was overwhelming.

Anyway, congrats on the book, and hopefully we’ll meet sometime in person for real.
