i was 12 in 1978, and i don’t recall waht i got. i know it was probably clothes, and an apple and nuts in my stocking. something my dad did every year. in fact, i do it with my kids, now, even though one is going to be 20 in january, lol. of course, i dont’ give crappy red delicious apples. i give braeburns to the boys, and a pear to my daughter (she hates apples, lol)

In 1978 I was 13 and about to finish 8th grade and head on to high school. (Yep, I’m old). Don’t remember what I asked for for Christmas, but it was probably clothes, and who remembers the clothes they get when they’re 13? I did have one of those dresses in that first picture, though, a few years earlier. Lovely, ain’t it?

My cousin Shawn had those Star Wars pjs and I was *so* jealous. Stupid cousin with the cool pajamas and all the matchbox cars. Harumph.

In 78 I was 24 and my daughter was 3. We had the matching Star Wars pj’s! They were a “special” gift from my sister. Oh, and itchy!!!
